PROMOTIONS
Tango Blues Entertainment works with some of the nation's top brands, providing promotional and branding opportunities for it's clients. Our street teams are available throughout the US, Canada and now Mexico, to assist in the distribution and promotion of our client's products and brand. TBE's involvement in grass roots promotions dates back to Miami in the early 1990's, with Atlantic Records release of Billie Rae Martin's dance hit Your Loving Arms and Budweiser's entry into the GLBT market. Recent grassroots promotions include work for Andrew Christian with branding of his underwear lines in 2006-2008, this year's implementation of the "GetCruzd" campaign for jewelry company Cruz Azur, and the upcoming branding and promotions for Pistol Pete swimwear in North America and Mexico.

Cruz Azur

Tango Blues Entertainment assisted in the implementation of the 2007 "GetCruzd" campaign from Cruz Azur jewelry. The 2007 collection combined the simple elegance of sterling-silver crosses with an array of rosaries, amulets, coins, ASPCA dog tags, Star of David pendants and Tibetan Prayer beads … an array that satisfies the need to be both traditional and intriguing. The wide cultural references of the Cruz Azur collection makes it equally at home with men from Manhattan to Munich, Miami to Malta. “It is our belief that Cruz Azur designs speak directly to men worldwide, and we hope that wearing our jewelry makes them feel bold, brave, and spirited” states owner Austin Smolka. Promotional events were held throughout Southern California targeting the GLBT community with the distribution of dog tag necklaces for patrons, rosary and leather necklaces for staff, distribution and posting of promotional print materials including posters (see artwork to left) and brochures promoting the online purchase of the products. |

Pistol Pete

Tango Blues Entertainment will begin grassroots promotions in 2009 for swimwear designer Pistol Pete to expand the brand recognition throughout North America and Mexico. Grassroots promotional campaign will include distribution of swimwear to staff at beach resorts, pool parties and nightlife venues, online contests and prizing, plus other unique promotional events to bring the brand to the forefront of the men's swimwear world. |

Andrew Christian
(Grassroots Promotions)
A massive cross-country promotion was launched in 2006 as Andrew Christian expanded his line of men's underwear. Target cities included Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami and Washington, DC. Tango Blues Entertainment was brought in to shoot the images for the campaign, distribute premiums including AC branded wristbands, underwear, and various "eye candy" neckwear accessories to bar patrons and staff, plus supply fashions from the line to employees at locations around the country. Tango Blues Entertainment assisted in product placement of fashions on celebrities including JP Calderon (Survivor: Cook Islands), in programs such as Project Runway, and even airtime for Andrew Christian, including a segment on The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency. |
