Erin Hamilton
(Singer / Songwriter)

Erin Hamilton grew up as the daughter of the legendary comedienne Carol Burnett and television producer / jazz musician Joe Hamilton. Having attended all of the tapings of her mother’s show as a child, she was no stranger to the stage, and thus began her singing career at a very early age. She knew this was what she wanted to do. Being the youngest of 11 children, many of her siblings were also musicians, and Erin grew fond of all different music genres.

From her father’s tastes in Blues and Jazz to her brothers interests in Rock and Roll, Erin found herself combining the sounds all around her and played in Blues and Rock bands most of her teens and early twenties. It wasn’t until she heard Dreamweaver on the radio that she decided to do a “cover” of the song. Friend and producer Scott Anderson of Solar City came on board and quickly introduced her to the world of Dance music, and Masterbeat’s Brett Henrichsen. Really knowing nothing of what the “scene” was like, or anything about remixes and the club world, Hamilton dove in headfirst and loved it.

Shortly after Dreamweaver’s incredible success, Erin released her second cover, this time Cheap Trick’s hit The Flame. The Flame instantly became Hamilton’s greatest hit, and inspired her to record an entire dance album, titled One World. Full of original material, One World included her hit dance songs Dreamweaver and The Flame, along with music Erin wrote herself. Music from Hamilton’s One World album shot to the top of the charts in the late 90s, with Kiki Dee's I Got The Music In Me, Satisfied and The Temple, quickly making Erin a dance floor sensation.

With the success of One World , Erin began to tour, opening for such famous names as Joni Mitchell, Chaka Khan, Joe Jackson, Bette Midler, and Whitney Houston, to name a few. Erin took some personal time off the last few years to raise her two sons, and has now has returned sounding better then ever. In addition to her 2008 re-release of her hit The Flame, Erin had recorded a new original song titled Control Yourself, which is scheduled for release this summer in two parts. Produced and co-written by David Todd, Scott Anderson and Aaron Paetsch for Solar City Productions & Erin Hamilton. Remixes by Solar City, Lenny B., Julian Marsh, The Perry Twins, Manny Lehman, Raphael M., Reflex (UK), Soul Deep (Australia), Dena Cucci, DJ JST and Petra Boys.
