DJ Marco is a true New Yorker. Being raised on the music of the 70’s heard over the airwaves, DJ Marco landed his first radio show at Trinity College spinning alternative music, later discovering electronica and underground dance music. He began spinning vinyl in the underground clubs of NYC, working four turntables under his mentor underground DJ Joey Guicastro’s watchful eye. As the internet boomed and desire for dance music on vinyl grew, DJ Marco and his then partner, Jon Alex, began an online record store selling hard to find vinyl. DJ Marco’s influences include his mentor Joey Giucastro, Jon Alex, DJ Max Rodriguez, old school Junior Vasquez, Body & Soul and Brion Vitlacel.

DJ Marco has been spinning NYC into the groove for over 10 years. From Chelsea staple Splash, to 2 eyes, Limelight, Crowbar and Boys Life, DJ Marco has the ear of the crowd. He’s even spun for such diverse crowds as The Eagle, Barracuda, and the Saint At Large parties. DJ Marco has even ventured off to Fire Island with his current partner, ABC television star Candis Cayne from Dirty Sexy Money, and played both the Low and High Teas plus the historic Pavilion.

DJ Marco and his partner Candis have moved west, and now live in Hollywood, CA. Within the first six months in Los Angeles they have produced a weekly Wednesday night, featuring music by DJ Marco with performances by Candis Cayne, at Fubar in West Hollywood. DJ Marco recently opened for DJ Tracy Young at the White Party Palm Springs to amazing reviews and has a new residency at The Abbey in West Hollywood.
